CONGRESSMAN BASS TO FLEE NEW HAMPSHIRE, HEAD TO REPUBLICAN CONVENTION

CONCORD, N.H. – The Bass campaign yesterday confirmed that Congressman Bass will attend the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida next week instead of meeting with constituents in the 2nd district. Congressman Bass is the only Congressional candidate in New Hampshire who will be traveling to Tampa.

“Nearly three weeks into his five week, taxpayer-funded vacation, Congressman Bass has still apparently not appeared in person for any public town halls but is finding time to spend four days at the Republican Convention in Florida,” said Rob Friedlander, Communications Director for Annie Kuster. “While Congressman Bass is in Tampa getting his marching orders and reassuring donors that he supports the Republican agenda of voting to end Medicare as we know it, Annie will be traveling across the district talking to Granite Staters about how we can create jobs, grow the economy, and strengthen the middle class.”
