Governor Romney Set to Defend Failed Romney-Bass Economics

CONCORD, NH- Annie Kuster released the following statement about the Romney-Bass economic agenda in advance of tonight’s presidential debate:

“In tonight’s presidential debate, New Hampshire voters will hear two very different visions for our country’s future. While President Obama will discuss his plan to grow our economy and strengthen the middle class, Governor Romney will double-down on the failed, trickle-down economic approach he and Congressman Bass share. The fact is, Governor Romney and Congressman Bass have both embraced a plan that would end Medicare as we know it, gut investments in education and innovation, and give additional tax breaks to millionaires at the expense of the middle class. New Hampshire’s working families expect and deserve better than this.”
