Join Team Kuster as an Online Organizing Fellow!

Here at Kuster for Congress we are looking for an Online Organizing Fellow to manage a new online organizing platform. This is an opportunity to be on the cutting edge of online campaigning, and gain experience on one of the country’s top congressional campaigns.

All our fellows are given regular trainings and exposure to all departments in the campaign. In addition, the Online Organizing Fellow will have the chance to gain experience in:

  • Best practice new media campaigning
  • Recruitment and training of volunteers
  • Voter outreach and messaging
  • Utilizing the voter file
  • Utilizing and maintaining our CRM system

The role of the Online Organizing Fellow includes but is not limited to:

  • Recruiting volunteers to join our new online organizing platform
  • Developing phone bank and other campaigns for use on the platform
  • Promoting campaigns across new media including social media and emails
  • Working with the field fellows to support the field program
  • Training volunteers to use the platform effectively
  • Tracking results across multiple campaigns to develop best practices
  • Outreach to relevant organizations (young Democrats, students etc.)

This is a volunteer position and requires a commitment of at least 3 days a week for two months in order to get the platform up and running. The Online Organizing Fellow would need to be able to work from our main office in Concord, NH. For non-local candidates who are able to commit full-time, we would be able to arrange supporter housing.
