Democratic Congressional candidate Ann McLane Kuster was the featured speaker at Friday morning’s meeting of the Greater Salem Rotary Club and talked about her hopes for the state and country.
Kuster spoke at length at the Atkinson Country Club about taxes, saying she’d like to see a plan to reduce the national debt and deficit. She wants to see tax cuts continue for those making under $250,000.
“For the people that are literally making millions in our society…we cannot afford going forward to continue those tax cuts,” Kuster said.
