Concord, NH - Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster released the latest ad in her campaign, which tells the story of her father Malcolm McLane’s experience during World War II. In the ad, Annie highlights how her father’s experience as a fighter pilot and POW has impacted her work as a member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. In Congress, Annie has worked to deliver real reforms for veterans in New Hampshire and across the country to improve access to services and health care, address veteran homelessness, and expand economic opportunity.

"My father was a figure that was larger than life for me and my family,” said Annie. “He didn’t speak much about his service in the war when we were young but as we grew older he told us of his experiences and I know they weighed heavily on him. Delivering for our veterans is an issue that’s deeply personal for me. I’m committed to working across the aisle to ensure that veterans have care for the wounds of war both seen and unseen. We need to better support our veterans when they return home by expanding economic opportunity and services. This is what I’ve done and what I’ll continue to do.”

In addition to the ad that will run district wide on broadcast and cable, the campaign also released a long form digital video that goes deeper into why she fights for veterans across New Hampshire.
