As a veteran, standing up for the men and women who serve in uniform is very personal to me. It is one of the reasons I climbed the ranks of the VFW and American Legion to ensure veterans rights were honored and the wars, conflicts and service was never forgotten. That’s why I’m glad we have Annie Kuster in Congress fighting for us. Rep. Kuster has worked across the aisle to improve access to care and services for New Hampshire veterans. She was one of only two democrats who crossed party lines to co-sponsor the VA MISSION Act and helped pass the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act to extend care to veterans exposed to Agent Orange while serving off the coast in Vietnam.
We need elected officials who focus on getting the job done for their constituents. That’s why I’ll be casting my vote for Annie Kuster on Nov. 3, and I hope you will, too.
