Annie Kuster Endorsed for Reelection by the Sierra Club
(Concord, NH) - Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) is announcing her endorsement by the Sierra Club for reelection. Kuster has been a champion for the environment in New Hampshire and across the country throughout her time in Congress. Earlier this year, Kuster unveiled her bipartisan Clean Energy Agenda which outlines proposals that will reduce carbon pollution and grow the clean energy economy in New Hampshire.
“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Sierra Club,” said Annie Kuster. “Protecting our environment will always be one of my top priorities. Reducing carbon pollution is more important than ever, both for the wellbeing of our planet and our economy. That’s why I’m fighting to preserve our environment, reduce energy costs, build back a better, stronger renewable energy economy and create the clean jobs of the future. The Granite State is home to some of the most beautiful land in the country, and it is up to us to combat climate change and protect it for future generations. I am proud to serve as a partner of the Sierra Club and to join them in their efforts to preserve our air, land, and water."
“The Sierra Club is pleased to endorse Representative Annie Kuster’s re-election to Congress,” said Jim Allmendinger, Political Chair of the NH Sierra Club. “Rep. Kuster has demonstrated her commitment to protecting New Hampshire’s and America’s environment. She is committed to promoting renewable energy solutions to move towards a safe energy future built on energy efficiency, clean transportation, and American innovation and to protecting public well-being and ensuring safe and healthy communities free of toxic air and water pollution.”
