Kuster Releases Fifth TV Ad Slamming Burns For His Support of Abortion Death Panels
**While Annie Kuster is fighting to protect personal, private medical decisions from government interference, Bob Burns is endorsing the idea of abortion death panels**
Concord, NH — Today, Annie Kuster’s campaign released its fifth TV ad of this election cycle slamming Bob Burns for his extreme position on abortion. Burns supports creating death panels to decide whether or not a woman should be able to get a life-saving abortion, especially "women of color and low economic status." Burns doubled down when pressed on the issue, saying that the panels should be "required," "particularly when you have mothers of low-income status."
“Granite State families want less government interference in their personal, private lives — they do not want 'dudes in suits' telling them whether or not they can access life-saving abortion care,” said Kuster. “But that is exactly what my opponent would vote for if elected to Congress. He is too extreme for New Hampshire. I am proud to fight for a woman’s right to choose, and I will stand up to anyone who threatens our fundamental freedoms and personal autonomy.”
Bob Burns is too extreme for New Hampshire — his views are out-of-touch with the overwhelming majority of Granite Staters who are pro-choice.
Bob Burns says that he is “100% pro-life, from conception.”
Bob Burns would vote for a national abortion ban before most women know they are pregnant, including in New Hampshire.
Bob Burns answered, “None” when asked under what circumstances abortion should be allowed.
Bob Burns celebrated the Supreme Court’s decision overturning the precedent of Roe v. Wade and taking away a woman’s right to bodily autonomy.
Bob Burns would vote to put an abortion ban into our constitution.
