Kuster Releases New TV Ad Focused On Protecting Social Security and Medicare

Concord, NH — Annie Kuster’s campaign has released its fourth TV ad of the 2022 cycle. The ad focuses on Bob Burns’ disturbing pledge to join the most extreme Members of Congress whose dangerous agenda would mean cuts to Social Security and Medicare.

“All across New Hampshire, I hear from Granite Staters who are worried about rising prices and losing the benefits they have earned,” said Kuster. “They want their elected leaders to take action and fight for them — and that’s exactly what I have done. I’ve been proud to stand up to members of either party who would cut Social Security or Medicare benefits that seniors earned and I am proud to have taken on Big Oil and Big Pharma to lower costs for New Hampshire.”

Unlike her extreme, right-wing opponent, Annie Kuster has a long track record of fighting to cut costs for Granite State families. She helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act — legislation Burns would have voted against — to finally allow Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices, cap out-of-pocket prescription costs, limit the cost of insulin, and eliminate vaccine copays for seniors on Medicare. She also stood up to Big Oil to stop price gouging, pushed the Biden administration to release oil from our Strategic Reserves, and supports lifting the gas tax to lower prices at the gas pump.
