(Concord, NH) – Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster is releasing her second TV ad of the 2020 cycle. The ad highlights her work to support New Hampshire hospitals and frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and improve access to health care for those in the Granite State. The 30-second ad features Loni Raymond, a nurse in Epsom, discussing the impact of Congresswoman Kuster's support of hospitals and health care workers during this pandemic.
Congresswoman Kuster worked across party lines to pass the CARES Act and to deliver more than $300 million in relief funding for New Hampshire hospitals. Kuster has helped deliver more than $4.2 billion to New Hampshire during the crisis to expand testing and provide economic support to individuals and small businesses. As a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, Kuster is working to fund vaccine development and ensure a safe and effective vaccine is available to all Granite Staters. Kuster has been a strong advocate for New Hampshire in Congress, and has stood up against partisan efforts to limit coverage for those with pre-existing conditions, passing her bill, the "Protecting Americans with Pre-Existing Conditions Act," last year.
"The COVID-19 pandemic has tested our health care system," said Annie Kuster. "Here in New Hampshire, health care and frontline workers have gone above and beyond to serve our communities. During this crisis, they needed support to ensure access to personal protective equipment and funding to keep our hospitals and health care facilities afloat. I'm proud to fight for those who fight for us and am committed to continuing to stand up for our health care and frontline workers."
