Kuster: Bush Tax Cuts Were Wrong, Need Middle Class Tax Relief Instead

CONCORD, NH – Less than 24 hours since it launched, more than 400 NH voters from 128 different towns across the state have signed Democratic congressional candidate Ann McLane Kuster’s petition to pass middle class tax relief instead of repeating the mistake of the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans.

“Instead of supporting the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest, Washington should have passed tax relief for middle class families, kept the deficit under control, and invested in the job-creation that was missing over much of the past decade.” said Kuster.  “Now is our chance to finally get it right.”

Over the past six months in my campaign for Congress, I have traveled to every corner of our district to sit-down with workers and business leaders to talk with them about how the government can help them create new jobs."
