About a seat at the table

Hello friends,

You may have heard the expression from women leaders, “If you don’t have a seat at the table, you may be on the menu.” Nowhere is this more apparent than in the debate over women’s autonomy and reproductive rights here in New Hampshire.

I started ‘A Seat at the Table’ in 2020 to help elect pro-choice, Democratic women in New Hampshire to take a seat at the table to fight for the rights of women and girls in our state. The 2022 candidates will give voice to women across New Hampshire, and the men who love them, fighting to protect and preserve our reproductive rights, livelihoods, families, health, well-being and safety, and environment.

Especially in the wake of the Supreme Court overturning the near 50-year precedent of Roe v. Wade and revoking women’s constitutional right to an abortion, it has never been more important to elect pro-choice leaders in the Granite State. In November, New Hampshire voters have a clear choice to take a stand for reproductive rights, equal pay, safe schools, paid family leave, affordable child care and health care, access to mental health care and addiction treatment, ending sexual and domestic violence, and saving our planet.

I endorse these Democratic women to stand up, speak out and take a seat at the table to fight for a better future for all of us.
