AFL-CIO Endorses Kuster for Re-Election
(Concord, NH) - Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) is announcing her endorsement by the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO). Throughout her time in Congress, Kuster has been a strong partner of the AFL-CIO and has fought tirelessly to ensure New Hampshire workers and those across the country are treated fairly on the job. She has advocated for building the 21st century workforce, expanding job training, workforce development, college affordability, and strengthening rural communities. Kuster was endorsed unanimously at the New Hampshire AFL-CIO Legislative Conference this past weekend. She knows that when Granite State workers succeed, our entire state succeeds.
"It's an honor to receive the endorsement of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations," said Annie Kuster. "In New Hampshire and across the country, our workers deserve fair treatment on the job, and the AFL-CIO has been a strong partner in the fight to ensure better working conditions, wages, and a better future for all workers, in the Granite State and beyond. As we continue to build back from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is essential that we support our hard working families and workers, so no one is left behind during our recovery."
“I’ve known Annie for many, many years and she’s the real deal,” said New Hampshire AFL-CIO President Glenn Brackett. “She stands with us, she walks with us and I consider her a friend. I’m proud that my fellow leaders of the New Hampshire AFL-CIO agree that she’s earned our support and we’re proud to endorse her this year.”
