Kuster Endorsed By Human Rights Campaign

(Concord, NH) – Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster announced her endorsement by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) PAC, the nation's largest LGBTQ organization. Kuster, throughout her tenure in Congress, has been a strong advocate for the LGBTQ community. She was a cosponsor of the Equality Act, which will help ensure LGBTQ Americans receive the full protections of the law. As a former adoption attorney for 25 years, Kuster knows the joy adoption can bring to families and the importance that every child has a safe and stable home to grow up in. She has fought in Congress to ensure that any potential foster or adoptive parent is not discriminated against because of their sexual orientation, marital status or gender identity.

"It's an honor to receive the endorsement of the Human Rights Campaign," said Annie Kuster. "Now more than ever, it's important that we reaffirm our commitment to upholding LGBTQ rights and ensuring equality under the law for all. I've been a proud LGBTQ ally in Congress, working to advance pro-equality legislation and advocating for LGBTQ inclusion. This work is far from over, and I look forward to continuing to partner with the Human Rights Campaign and advancing equality for the LGBTQ community, in the Granite State and beyond."

“The Human Rights Campaign is proud to endorse Annie Kuster for re-election,” said Alphonso David, President of the Human Rights Campaign. “Across the country, Donald Trump and his allies have put LGBTQ rights under threat. Working alongside Congresswoman Kuster and the pro-equality House majority, we made history and passed the Equality Act for the first time. This November, we must reelect our allies, like Congresswoman Kuster, to ensure we maintain a pro-equality majority in the U.S. House and establish one in the U.S. Senate. Together, united like never before, we can create a better, more equal future for our community. "
