The COVID-19 pandemic has put a serious strain on our communities across New Hampshire. In the early spring, we saw economic activity grind to a halt as people stayed in to protect themselves and their loved ones. Thankfully, we have leaders like Annie Kuster, who took swift action to pass legislation to keep our small businesses from going under and help struggling, out-of-work individuals.

Annie helped to deliver more than $4.2 billion in funding to New Hampshire for the Paycheck Protection Program, stimulus payments, and expanded unemployment. She also pushed for funding to support frontline and health care workers. Her actions helped to avoid a total economic collapse. As we look to rebuild from COVID-19 and brace for the potential of increased cases in the fall and winter, it’s critical that we have leaders like Annie Kuster who will work across the aisle to get assistance to those in New Hampshire who need it most.

Annie has listened to the science and knows that we need to address both the health crisis and the economic challenges caused by COVID-19. She’s brought together public health experts, business leaders, and community leaders to focus on how we can get through the pandemic together. For the future of our state, I support Annie Kuster for re-election.
